This is for a volunteer, member, or community member interested in volunteering at the YMCA in any capacity. We have various volunteer opportunities that may align with your life purpose and interest to simply give back to the community and experience what it is like to be part of our McDonald family. Volunteer opportunities include: Playhouse Volunteers Volunteers will assist our YMCA Playhouse staff in making our YMCA Playhouse a fun, safe, and welcoming place. If you enjoy working with kids and have a fun and helpful personality, we invite you to join us. Mobile Food Pantry Volunteers If you want to see directly where your services are helping, this is your volunteer opportunity! Every 4th Saturday - hours needed are 9:30 am – 1:30 pm. Welcome Center Volunteers Volunteers will assist our YMCA Member Engagement staff in making our YMCA the most welcoming place. We invite you to join us if you have a fun and helpful personality. All volunteers must pass a criminal background check and complete Child Abuse Prevention Training.
