Reach &Rise® is a national YMCA program designed to build a better future for youth by helping them reach their full potential through the support of caring adults. Established to provide young people in our community with positive adult relationships, adult mentors are matched with youth in our community who they meet with once a week. Mentors serve as role models, friends, and confidants. Mentors are not meant to take the role of a parent or babysitter but to introduce their mentees to new activities to help them grow and learn about themselves and their community. Group Mentor Requirements: - 21+years old - Pass background check - Meet up to 1-3 hours each week, for 12-month commitment Complete 15 hour mentor training over topics: - Basics of youth mentoring - Theoretical approaches to mentoring - Stages of Youth Development - Mental Health Youth May Experience - Safety Issues - Policies& Procedures

We are so glad that you want to participate in our arts camps at the 4ALL Studio! These are going to be incredible experiences for our kids, giving them a glimpse of the arts and inspiring their interest in creativity! From July 15th to August 2nd, several weeks of various specified arts camps will be held. These camps will include art, dance, theatre, and recording arts so that kids might better understand what it is like to participate in these fields!

DAY CAMP - Field Trip Chaperone

Association Childcare

Field Trip chaperones are parents or individuals interested in being a helping hand to our day camp leaders on YMCA field trips. Our Day Camp program takes campers ages 5-12 years of age on a variety of field trips across the DFW and Tarrant County area. From the FTW Zoo to Urban Air and even Lego Land, we travel all over to ensure our day campers receive the best summer possible! Chaperones will be assigned to a group along with a YMCA Day Camp Staff. Volunteers will be responsible for: • guiding campers throughout the entire field trip • help lead activities • load campers on and off of the buses • ensure that all campers are accounted for during the duration of the field trip Volunteer must: • Age perimeters: 18+ • Must fill out an online YMCA Volunteer profile • Must pass criminal background check • Must complete Child & Sexual Abuse Training • Must be scheduled assigned to a group with a YMCA Day Camp Staff member • Must communicate with office at least 24 hours in advance if they become unavailable for a scheduled trip

Interns for the YMCA of Metropolitan Fort Worth will progressively learn and demonstrate competencies to support the leadership staff over the course of their internship.
