Please click the QRC to sign up and under organization group select- "BENBROOK YMCA " - The 33rd Annual Benbrook Trash Bash event takes place Saturday, September 20, 2025, from 8:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. This annual event offers an opportunity for Benbrook residents, visitors, groups, and organizations to volunteer to take part in a fun cleanup event! Volunteers are assigned to specific areas in the park to pick up litter and debris. Gloves and trash bags are provided. We will be meeting at 8am Infront of the Benbrook YMCA

Benbrook is saddling up to host its 17th Annual Benbrook Heritage Fest on Saturday, September 27, 2025, at Dutch Branch Park, from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. This free, family-friendly event is packed full of exciting western entertainment, food vendors, mechanical bull riding, a petting zoo, mini-golf, a chuckwagon dinner, and a street dance.

Conduct regular headcounts and monitor children’s activities to prevent accidents and injuries. Respond promptly and appropriately to any emergencies or incidents. Plan and lead age-appropriate activities, including games, arts and crafts, storytelling, and educational programs. Encourage positive social interactions among children. Adapt activities to meet the needs and interests of individual children and the group. Greet parents and children warmly upon arrival and departure. Communicate effectively with parents regarding their child’s experience and any issues or concerns. Provide feedback to the Youth Programs Coordinator/Director on program success and areas for improvement. Maintain a clean, safe, and organized playhouse area. Sanitize toys, equipment, and surfaces regularly to prevent the spread of germs. Ensure that supplies are stocked and report any needs to the Youth Programs Coordinator/Director.

We are looking for dedicated volunteer volleyball coaches to help lead and inspire players in our upcoming season at the William M. McDonald YMCA! Responsibilities: Coach and mentor players in fundamental volleyball skills, teamwork, and sportsmanship. Attend one practice per week (schedule determined based on team availability). Be present for all Saturday games to guide and support your team. Communicate with players and parents about practice and game schedules. Encourage a positive and inclusive team environment.
