A Community Advisory Board member is a key volunteer who serves a 3-year term and provides the following functions: • Serves as a positive influence and advocate for the YMCA • Supports the mission and vision of the YMCA • Guide operations, monitor financial performance, and lead fundraising activities • Promote center membership and monitor program participation and quality to achieve Association goals • Provide input regarding center needs and make recommendations to the Association board that relate to their respective center • Advise the center staff in matters pertaining to the management of the center operation and monitor the implementation of board policies at the center • Attendance at most YMCA board functions and other YMCA-related activities is expected

YMCA Camp Carter
Do you like working with horses? The Camp Carter Equestrian Center could use your help! We always need help with maintaining our Equestrian Center facilities. Task could include: • mucking stalls and the arenas, • assisting with feeding the horses, • ensuring horses have sufficient clean water and hay available, • and other tasks that help our Equestrian Center run well and our horses remain healthy. Some familiarity with horses is preferred.

Are you passionate about youth sports and making a positive impact in your community? The William M. McDonald YMCA is looking for dedicated Volunteer Soccer Coaches for our Youth Soccer League! Responsibilities: Lead one practice per week to help players develop fundamental soccer skills, teamwork, and sportsmanship. Coach and support your team during Saturday games throughout the season. Communicate with parents regarding schedules, team updates, and any important league information. Encourage a fun and inclusive environment where all players can grow and enjoy the game. Serve as a role model by demonstrating good sportsmanship and YMCA core values. Requirements: No prior coaching experience is necessary, but knowledge of soccer and working with youth is a plus. Must be able to commit to weekly practices and Saturday games. Ability to create a positive and encouraging atmosphere for players of all skill levels. Willingness to complete a background check and any required YMCA volunteer training.

Be present for all Saturday games to guide and support your team. Communicate with players and parents about practice and game schedules. Encourage a positive and inclusive team environment.
