YMCA Camp Carter
Do you like working with horses? The Camp Carter Equestrian Center could use your help! We always need help with maintaining our Equestrian Center facilities. Task could include: • mucking stalls and the arenas, • assisting with feeding the horses, • ensuring horses have sufficient clean water and hay available, • and other tasks that help our Equestrian Center run well and our horses remain healthy. Some familiarity with horses is preferred.
To provide a well-maintained facility that is healthy and safe for our horses, staff and guests.

Safety Information Includes (but not limited to): • Must complete waivers, training and background check sufficiently • Must wear boots to protect yourself • Jeans or long pants are recommended • Familiarity or experience with horses is preferred • Ability to bend, stoop, twist, carry 20+ pounds • All volunteer opportunities are outdoors
Volunteer must cancel within 12 hours of a committed time period - so that staff can work to fill the position.
