The YMCA Camp Carter Equestrian Center is more than a barn; we rely on the dedication and passion of volunteers to help care for our horses, keep our facilities welcoming, and ensure that every guest enjoys the best of Camp Carter. Whether you’re an animal lover, a hands-on fixer, or someone who enjoys working behind the scenes, there’s a role for you at the Equestrian Center. Ways You Can Help: 🐴 Horse Care & Barn Support – Feeding, grooming, tacking, mucking stalls, and supporting lessons or trail rides. 🌿 Grounds & Lawn Care – Mowing, trimming, raking, and keeping our pastures and trails beautiful. 🎨 Painting & Beautification – Refreshing fences, barn walls, and signage to keep our facilities inviting. 🛠️ Skilled Projects – Welding, carpentry, and repairs to help us maintain safe, quality spaces for horses and riders. 🧹 General Cleaning & Upkeep – From the office to common spaces to bathrooms, your efforts keep our spaces organized and welcoming. 🗂️ Office & Program Support – Helping with phone calls, marketing, and other behind-the-scenes tasks that keep programs running smoothly. 💡 Special Projects – Got a skill, hobby, or trade you’d like to share?
