The Summer Camp Photographer volunteer plays a vital role in capturing the spirit, impact, and daily experiences of campers and staff at YMCA Camp Carter. This volunteer will take high-quality photos of camp activities, programs, special events, and candid moments that reflect the joy, growth, and community of summer camp. Photos may be used for family sharing, internal storytelling, marketing, and donor communications. This is a great opportunity for photography enthusiasts who enjoy working with youth and want to support the YMCA mission through visual storytelling. All you need is a smart phone and some basic photography skills!

All volunteers must complete YMCA volunteer onboarding and background screening prior to participation Volunteers must follow all YMCA policies related to youth protection, photography permissions, and privacy Photos of campers will only be taken in approved settings and in accordance with YMCA media release policies Volunteers should remain under staff supervision while on-site and adhere to all camp safety guidelines
