YMCA Teen Night Program: Are you passionate about working with teens and making a positive impact in your community? Join us as a Volunteer for YMCA Teen Night and help create a fun, safe, and supportive environment for teens to hang out, participate in activities, and engage with positive role models! Middle School Madness will be every other Friday night: 7:30PM – 10:30PM. About the Teen Night Program: The YMCA Teen Night Program is designed to give teens a safe space to socialize, get active, and engage in enriching activities. Volunteers will help facilitate games, arts and crafts, music, sports, and group discussions while ensuring all teens feel welcome and supported. Volunteer Responsibilities: Facilitate Fun Activities: Help set up and supervise activities such as games, sports, arts and crafts, movie nights, and team-building exercises. Engage with Teens: Be a positive role model by encouraging participation, fostering teamwork, and offering guidance when needed. Ensure Safety: Help maintain a safe environment by monitoring activities and providing support as needed. Provide Mentorship: Act as a mentor and build relationships with teens, offering advice, encouragement, and listening ears. Create a Positive Atmosphere: Promote an environment where everyone feels included, respected, and empowered. Volunteer Benefits: Make a Lasting Impact: Help provide a positive, enjoyable experience for local teens while being a mentor and role model. Gain Experience: Develop leadership, communication, and mentoring skills that will be valuable in many future endeavors. Have Fun!: Enjoy participating in fun and engaging activities while building connections with other volunteers and teens.
