Membership Experience Volunteers help create a warm welcoming and organized environment for all who visit The Y. Volunteers may assist with a variety of tasks including greeting members supporting community programs like open clubs or events organizing program spaces or lending a hand with general facility upkeep. Responsibilities may include: - Greeting and engaging members and guests in a friendly manner. - Assisting staff with setup and cleanup of programs or activities. - Helping ensure program and common areas are tidy safe and inviting. Requirements: - Completion of background check and child abuse prevention training - Commitment to YMCA core values of caring honesty respect and responsibility. - Friendly, reliable and community- oriented attitude.
