This is a faith-based community gathering designed to serve families in Fort Worth’s neighborhoods who have been impacted by SNAP benefit reductions. This event will provide a hot Thanksgiving meal, joyful fellowship, and family-friendly activities in a safe and welcoming environment

Event Purpose: • Serve about 20 families (prioritizing those with children and from marginalized communities) • Provide a hot Thanksgiving meal (chicken, mac & cheese, green beans, candied yams, desserts, drinks) • Create a safe, respectful, faith-centered atmosphere where families feel seen and celebrated • Offer activities for kids, gratitude wall, optional prayer/devotional, and fellowship

Safety/Volunteer Protocols (already thought through in proposal): • Background checks for volunteers working with children • Liability waivers for guests/volunteers • Food safety guidelines (gloves, hairnets, temp control) • On-site first aid and emergency contact plan • Requesting: access to fellowship/community room, tables/chairs, restrooms, kitchen/warming space, and possibly AV
